In 2021, the Foundation and the City of Reading began the process of assessing the need for updates and improvements. Engineering assessments conducted in 2022 provided a scope of work for the repairs to the retaining wall at the Pagoda’s foundation. A building conditions assessment included mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural and interior architectural finishes, and the exterior structure.
